How to get to Hotel Campus? |
The Hotel Campus is located on the U.A.B campus, about 20 km away from downtown Barcelona. It is easily accessible by train; it is located 200 meters from the BELLATERRA station of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC) railway, about 30 minutes from the city center.
IMPORTANT: The UAB Campus is rather large and it has TWO train stops: "Bellaterra" and "Universitat Autonoma". The closest stop to Hotel Campus is Bellaterra.
How to get to the Hotel Campus from Barcelona International Airport:
The airport of Barcelona is 12 km away from the city center and about 30 km from the Hotel Campus.
You can choose between 2 transportation means to get to the Hotel Campus:
By TAXI, which costs around 50 €.
You can also take the AEROBUS combined with the TRAIN, which costs less than 6 €.
Take the AEROBUS (blue colored Airport Shuttle Bus) to PLAÇA CATALUNYA, right in the City Center. The bus leaves every 15 min. in front of Terminals A, B and C.

At Plaça Catalunya, cross diagonally towards the famous "Ramblas". Take the underground entrance in front of Bar Zurich and take the TRAIN of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya
to BELLATERRA station; take line S2 direction SABADELL or line S55 direction UNIVERSITAT AUTONOMA . There are trains leaving every 5 - 15 min. The trip takes about 30 min.- Price: 1,90 €

How to get to the Hotel Campus from the main Barcelona Train Station (Sants Estació)
o Take the METRO from SANTS ESTACIÓ to PLAÇA CATALUNYA (blue line L5, direction Horta) get off at Diagonal station and then switch via underground passage to the Provença train station of FGC.
o Take the TRAIN of FGC to BELLATERRA station; take line S2 direction SABADELL or line S55 direction UNIVERSITAT AUTONOMA . There are trains leaving every 5 - 15 min. The trip takes about 30 min.
o Finally you must WALK about 200 meters, following the signs from Bellaterra Station to Hotel Campus

From "El Prat" Airport to "Plaça de Catalunya" station
The
best and faster way to get to Barcelona centre (Plaza
Catalunya) is taking the train RENFE .
The train leaves the railway station close to the airport every 30 min, and gets to the downtown in less than 25 min.

Another
option to get to Barcelona city is by a special bus called Aerobus.
The Aerobus service is a shuttle bus service that links Barcelona airport to the city centre. This service runs every 15 min's as follows: you can catch the Aerobus from the airport and get off in Plaza Catalunya in the city centre.
